The Auto Assistance Technician provides essential support to clients by addressing all road service needs. In this role, they assist clients promptly, professionally, and courteously, ensuring client satisfaction even in stressful situations. This position requires flexibility, including working nights, weekends, and holidays
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists stranded motorists
Jump-starts vehicles
Changes tires
Provides auto lock assistance
Calls towing services for disabled vehicles
Helps motorists obtain fuel when their vehicle is out of gas
Ensures all service calls are completed as quickly as possible
Assists as directed by management, in other activities within the department.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must possess excellent and positive customer service skills
Must hold a valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of good driving experience
Must be capable of performing basic vehicle repairs, such as jump-starts and tire changes
Must be reliable, flexible, and service-oriented with strong work ethics
Must be knowledgeable of St. Maarten’s street names and locations
Experience with cars and knowledge of car mechanics or systems is a plus
Good communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
Willing and able to work shifts and be on call
Must be a team player
