NAGICO LIFE INSURANCE EC LTD is a dynamic, financially strong, and innovative insurance provider and is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the post of INDEPENDENT SALES AGENTS.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promotes NAGICO’s Life products to prospects, and existing customers through up-selling, cross-selling, and prospecting.
Generates leads and cold-call prospective customers towards 100% conversion to a policyholder.
Assist clients with financial planning. Offer informed coverage advice to all customers, existing and/or prospective.
Participates in Sales Campaigns and outdoor marketing initiatives.
Render friendly and efficient service to clients including the execution of follow-ups for new business and renewals.
Meets with customers/clients face to face (in and out of the office) or over the phone.
Sends monthly sales reports about Progress and Collections.
Assesses client needs and the company’s ability to meet those needs.
Liaises with the Team Lead as necessary to verify policy requirements, special terms, or conditions.
Keep professional/technical skills current through ongoing training, seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business Administration and minimum 2 years’ working experience in a similar position and/or customer service relations or sales in the insurance industry or minimum of 5 CXC passes including English and Mathematics plus 4 years’ working experience in a similar position and/or customer service relations or sales in the insurance industry.
ALMI – Associate Life Management Institute / FLMI – Fellow Life Management Institute a plus.
Must be a holder of a valid Insurance Salesman License.
Solid and proven knowledge and experience in Medical/Life Insurance including customer service and Sales a plus
Must have advanced knowledge/skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must show good planning and organizing skills; good communication skills; good interpersonal skills; good customer service orientation; good analytical and decision-making skills; resultsfocused orientation; keen attention to detail; excellent time management skills; and willingness to be an excellent team player with a positive work attitude.
Must exhibit trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information.
Ability to work consistently to achieve targets, without constant supervision.
COMPENSATION
Remuneration will be commensurate with your desire to perform, consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
